Kyle and Kate’s wedding at the Buffalo History Museum started off with a POP at the Buffalo Marriot Harborcenter as Kate’s Matron of Honor, Natalie opened a bottle of champagne which proceeded to spray all over the room! With the 80s music pumping and the girls having a great time getting ready, I knew right then this was going to be a fun wedding. Kate looked stunning in her wedding gown, with its simple but elegant cut and intricate pattern. Then her mom joined us to take a peek and give her daughter one last hug before walking down the aisle.

The ceremony took place at St. Michael’s Church in Buffalo, NY and the weather thankfully stayed dry, definitely the best day all Spring. After a full mass, we headed to the Buffalo History Museum for the reception and utilized Delaware Park for some bride and groom formals. This was my first time photographing a wedding at the BHM and the architecture, atmosphere, and staff did not disappoint. My second photographer for the day, Michael Fisher did a great job capturing some candid moments with Kyle and Kate’s friends.

Kate’s MOH gave a wonderful speech which included handing down some sentimental items to her. Kyle’s brother Ryan kept it short and sweet and then the party began. One of the highlights was Kate’s “neighborhood Grandma” tearing it up on the dance floor!

This was such a beautiful day and a great way to start out the 2017 wedding season.
Congratulations to you both!
